Overview
The Ph.D. provides students with the opportunity to undertake advanced research, requiring both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The program enables students to apply knowledge from their subjects to the practical application of their chosen topic. The program typically takes three years to complete full-time, and six years for part-time study. A Ph.D. requires an external place of employment or a Ph.D. partner. There are two parts to the program. The first is the dissertation, and the second part of the degree is the viva.
Scope of Ph.D
The Ph.D. provides students with a unique opportunity to conduct high-quality postgraduate research in the field. It requires advanced research skills in the field, such as qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The program enables students to conduct a significant research project on a specific topic of their choice. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in Sports or a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.

They must also have passed a national or university-level entrance examination such as UGC NET / UGC CSIR NET / GATE / SLET.
